A rainy night. A packed meeting in a tin house on Govender's land right across the road from Govender's mansion.

The consensus is clear: Govender is trying to privatize this place by buying all the land, throwing off the poor and building houses for the rich. But we will fight for the land to be in common and for the government to build us houses here. The poor will not be thrown out of Motala Farm - this must be a place for everyone.
