Mondli Mbiko, the 5th K.R.D.C. member and the 6th Kennedy Road resident to be arrested following the death in police custody of Mzwakhe Sithole was released on R5 000.00 bail. He wasn’t assaulted or insulted while in detention. Clearly Nayager has learnt something from his recent experiences. However it was made clear to Mondli that the remaining members of the K.R.D.C. will all be arrested shortly. And the police told him that they were aware that Abahlali’s power came from their use of muthi and this was the real reason behind the arrests….A new version of the old story of state (and left vangaurdist) paranoia….
