3 die in shack blaze

THREE people died when their shack at KwaDabeka near Pinetown, caught alight as they slept yesterday.

Supt Danelia Veldhuizen said it was suspected that an unattended candle fell over and set the shack on fire. Several other shacks were also destroyed. The victims were not identified and an inquest docket has been opened. – Mercury Reporter
