The Western Cape Anti-Eviction Campaign will hold a protest in District Six, Cape Town on Sunday 22nd April 2007.

The protest will take the form of a human chain around the last remaining 17 households in District Six. Many former residents from District Six will attend.

It is all pensioners living in the houses. They have been renting the houses for years and now face eviction. The Western Cape Anti Eviction Campaign and the community have managed to stop an auction but the possibility of eviction remains.
