Tomorrow comrades from the eNkanini Land Occupation in Cato Crest will, together with comrades from all the other branches in Umkhumbane, march on the MEC for Housing.

The march is to demand services for the land that has been occupied, and held, despite severe state repression.

The MEC promised, on several occasions, to provide these services in Umkhumbane, with eNkanini as a pilot project. However, the promise has not been kept even though his office is so close to Umkhumbane.

Each branch has drawn up its own memorandum to deliver to the MEC.

The march will start at 10:00, at the eNkanini Land Occupation, and then proceed to the MEC’s office in Mayville.
