Housing Crisis Brewing in Extension Ten, Grahamstown

There is growing discontent about the allocation of new houses in Extension Ten, Grahamstown. People are saying that proper process has not been followed and that the waiting list has been ignored.

The councillors are making sure that housing is going to their friends and comrades.

Elderly people who have been on the list for many years are not getting houses but young people you are already saying that they will just sell the houses are being allocated houses.

There are also serious issues with the transit camp and the quality of the houses that are being built.

UPM will host a mass meeting to discuss this in Extension Ten on Thursday at 11:00.
